Mykonos is one of the most popular tourist destinations and most glamourous island of the Cyclades. Similarly to St Tropez, Mykonos happily flaunts its style and reputation with it’s beautiful beaches, luxurious resorts and wild nightlife.
During peak season this charming hellenic little town overflows with holiday makers, jet setters and posturing fashionistas updating their instagram feed with their latest descoveries and pricey juices .
So you have spent the day at Namos with your friends indulging in some of the wines mentionned in yesterday’s article ( see here) and must now head back to your hotel Cavo Tagoo to get ready for dinner at Kiku before dancing the night away at Cavo paradiso.
Needless to say there are a few factors that one should consider when figuring out what to wear in Mykonos. These being heat and the hundreds of uneven stone steps everywhere. Dress light and airy, maxi dresses are definately the way to go whether they be printed, textured or plain. For the brave fashionistas, you may attempt a pair of heels for dinner in your hotel , but most certainly recommend a pair of flat sandals if you intend on going out.
